About the team/job
The Rompani group is looking for a Postdoctoral Fellow who will participate in neuroscience research as part of an interdisciplinary team of scientists working within a highly collaborative international environment. The Rompani group uses a combination of in vivo imaging, mouse genetics, and virology to study how vision is influenced by other sensory systems and internal states (for more information, see https://www.embl.it/research/unit/rompani/index.html).
We are looking for clever, motivated people who are driven to study neuronal circuits and are eager to take a strong lead in their projects and the development of their own ideas.
A Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a scientific discipline is required, as is a PhD or soon to be obtained PhD. First author publications from the PhD are not required at the time of application but will be strongly preferred by the start date of the position.
