  Job Description

  A postdoctoral position is immediately available in the Department of Neurosciences at the Cleveland Clinic Lerner Research Institute to investigate the potential therapeutic intervention to promote the nerve regeneration and the functional (motor, sensory and autonomic) recovery after spinal cord injury or traumatic brain injury。 The mechanisms (neuroprotection, glial scars removal, remyelination, etc) underlying these effects are also the topics of our studies。 These studies are supported by fund from NIH R01, DOD and Foundation。 This position offers an excellent work environment with competitive salary and benefits。

  We are seeking a highly motivated, independent, flexible, and interactive researcher to work with.  Applicants with a strong background in neuroanatomy, neurophysiology, and neurobiology are encouraged to apply.  Significant experience in small animal survival surgery is highly desired in addition to demonstrated electrophysiological expertise and/or experience in data analysis software (MATLAB, photoshop).  Good English communication skills and a Ph.D.  or M.D. degree in a relevant discipline are required.
